Product Description
Hot forging is performed using hydraulic or screw presses, with precisely controlled heating and deformation to promote a uniform, refined microstructure in the gear blank. Strategic machining allowances are preserved on critical surfaces, followed by controlled thermal treatments-including normalizing, quenching and tempering, or carburizing-to achieve the desired mechanical properties. Subsequent finishing operations, such as precision hobbing, shaving, and grinding, are carried out to ensure high-quality tooth profiles and surface integrity. Each component undergoes rigorous visual, dimensional, hardness, and geometrical accuracy checks, with key features verified through coordinated CMM spot inspections. Finished parts are treated with a protective rust-preventive coating and securely packaged, accompanied by comprehensive material certifications and detailed inspection documentation.
