2004–2009: Founding & Foundation – Planting Roots in Machinery Trade

In 2004, against the backdrop of China's booming manufacturing sector and growing global interest in Chinese mechanical products, EO EQUIPMENT was established in Shenyang-a city known as China's "Equipment Manufacturing Capital." At that time, the global market faced a critical pain point: overseas buyers struggled to identify reliable Chinese suppliers amid a fragmented market, while domestic manufacturers lacked channels to connect with targeted international demand. Our founding team, composed of veterans in mechanical engineering and cross-border trade, set out to solve this "information asymmetry" problem.

The early years focused on laying a solid foundation. We started with a narrow but deep focus on construction machinery-one of China's most competitive sectors at the time-partnering with 20+ reputable local manufacturers in Liaoning and Jilin provinces. Our first office, a 100-square-meter space in downtown Shenyang, housed a small team of 8 people who took on multiple roles: communicating with overseas inquiries, visiting factories to verify product quality, and arranging logistics for small-batch orders. A milestone came in 2007 when we secured our first long-term contract: supplying 5 sets of excavators to a construction company in Thailand, which later became our partner for over 15 years. This success validated our model: combining on-the-ground factory verification with personalized client service.

By 2009, we had expanded our supplier network to 80+ manufacturers and extended our reach to Southeast Asia and the Middle East-regions with surging demand for infrastructure machinery. We also established our first basic quality inspection process, sending engineers to factories for pre-shipment checks, a practice that would later evolve into our comprehensive quality control system.

2010–2015: Expansion & Diversification – From Single Sector to Full-Spectrum Coverage

The 2010s marked a period of explosive growth for China's machinery exports, with the sector's global market share rising from 12% to 18% (data from China Machinery Industry Federation). EO EQUIPMENT seized this opportunity to expand beyond construction machinery, responding to client demands for integrated sourcing solutions. In 2011, we added mining machinery and agricultural machinery to our portfolio, partnering with manufacturers in Shandong and Henan-China's agricultural and mining equipment hubs.

This period was defined by two key breakthroughs. First, we moved our headquarters to a larger facility in Shenyang's Economic and Technological Development Zone, centralizing our sales, procurement, and after-sales teams. Second, we completed our first customized equipment order in 2013: modifying a standard grain dryer for a Kenyan agricultural cooperative to adapt to local climate conditions. By 2015, our supplier network exceeded 200 manufacturers, covering 6 major machinery sectors. We also expanded our international footprint, establishing partnerships with local agents in 10 countries to provide faster on-site support. 2016–2020: Maturity & Standardization – Building a Robust Supply Chain Ecosystem

We introduced a supply chain management system that tracks orders in real time, allowing clients to monitor production progress and shipment status online. By 2020, our team had grown to 80+ members, and our annual certification volume for exported machinery exceeded 1,000 units, with clients in over 50 countries.
