Product Description
Forging is carried out on hydraulic or screw presses with controlled deformation and appropriate pre heat to refine grain flow and improve mechanical properties. Heat treatment normally includes normalizing, quenching and tempering, or annealing, selected to obtain the required hardness, toughness and dimensional stability. Machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, boring and grinding are applied where specified, using fixtures that maintain datum consistency.
